WEATHER
CONDITIONS
Weather conditions: |
| Snow accumulation was low, and it melted quickly. Ice-break was also slightly earlier than normal, and water level in the Ob' River and in tundra lakes was lower than average. Greening of plants was very rapid.

BIOTIC
CONDITIONS
| Rodents abundance evaluation: |
average
Breeding conditions:
| Rapid snowmelt was favourable for nesting of most species. Low level of water in lakes and bogs could adversely affect nesting of waterfowl on tundra lake, but in the Ob' River floodplain this conversely had positive impact. Abundance of voles (compared with previous years) supported reproduction of mustelids and owls.
Rodent dynamics:
| Grey-sided Vole was regularly seen, and Microtus sp. voles were seen near hut.
Rodent species recorded:
| Latin | Abundance |
| Clethrionomys rufocannus | common |
